1. Scope of service
The App is provided by VIETQUEST TECHNOLOGY AND MEDIA COMPANY LIMITED ("VietQuest", "we") and consists of articles, short documentaries, augmented-reality 3D spirits and on-site activation at real Destinations, organised into Journeys, Areas and Destinations.
Part of the content is free; the full version is unlocked with a ticket (section 4). We may add, change or discontinue a Journey, Area or Destination when necessary, for example when a heritage site is temporarily closed or altered.
2. Account
- You sign in with an Apple, Google or Zalo account. The App has no password of its own; protecting your Apple, Google or Zalo account and your device is your responsibility.
- You must be at least 13 years old. Users under 16 need the consent of a parent or guardian.
- Each person should have only one account. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
- You may delete your account at any time in the App (Me → Delete account) or by email. Deleting the account means losing the progress, collection and tickets linked to it.
3. Content and intellectual property
All spirits, 3D models, films, articles, images, audio, designs and software in the App are owned by or licensed to VietQuest and protected under Vietnamese and international intellectual property law.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to view and experience the content in the App. You may not copy, distribute, modify, extract 3D models, publicly perform or commercially exploit the content without our written consent.
Photos and videos you take with a spirit belong to you. When you choose to share them through the App, you grant us the right to store and display them to operate the sharing feature; you can delete them at any time.
4. Tickets and in-app purchases
What a ticket unlocks
A ticket unlocks digital content for the scope you choose, a Journey, an Area or a Region, with no time limit for as long as the App is in operation. A ticket is not an admission ticket to any heritage site; entrance fees, where they exist, are charged separately by the site's operator.
Devices
Each account is unlocked on one device at a time. You can switch to another device yourself in the App up to once every 24 hours; the previous device is locked automatically. In special cases (lost or broken phone), contact support.
One ticket — the whole group explores together
A ticket belongs to an account, not to a number of people. Friends and family travelling with you can view the content and meet the spirits on the unlocked device.
Payment
In the App, payment is made through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. On the web, payment is made through the OnePay gateway. The price shown at the time of purchase is the applicable price, inclusive of taxes as required.
Refunds
For in-app transactions, refunds follow the Apple App Store or Google Play policy and are decided by those platforms; you submit requests directly to Apple or Google. For web transactions, we refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not activated any Destination within that ticket's scope; send requests by email with your transaction ID.
5. Outdoor safety
The App takes you to real places on public streets. While using it, you are responsible for:
- Watching traffic and your surroundings; not looking at the screen while crossing the road or in hazardous places.
- Respecting heritage sites, visiting rules, opening hours and places of worship; not climbing, touching artefacts or making noise.
- Not entering restricted areas, private property or places with warning signs, even if a spirit or Destination appears nearby.
- Assessing your own health, the weather and safety conditions before setting out.
VietQuest is not liable for injury or damage arising from failure to follow the above.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Spoofing GPS location or using tampering tools to activate a Destination without being present.
- Sharing, renting or selling accounts or tickets; using more devices than allowed under section 4.
- Reverse engineering, modifying, extracting content from or interfering with the App, our servers or the payment mechanism.
- Using the App to harass or insult others, or posting unlawful content when sharing photos.
- Commercially exploiting VietQuest content in any form without permission.
Violations may lead to suspension or termination of your account without refund, and we reserve the right to seek compensation under the law.
7. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". We work to keep the App running reliably but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, particularly where it depends on GPS signal, network connectivity, weather or the opening status of heritage sites.
To the extent permitted by law, VietQuest's total liability to you arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the related ticket in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect damage, loss of data on your device or damage caused by third parties.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, after notice except in cases of serious breach. If we discontinue the App, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the App and on the website.
The provisions on intellectual property, limitation of liability and governing law survive termination.
9. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if no agreement is reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be brought before the competent court in Ha Noi, Vietnam.
If you installed the App through the App Store or Google Play, Apple's or Google's terms also apply to the part of the service they provide.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When changes are material, we update the effective date at the top of the page and notify you in the App before they take effect. Continued use after the new effective date means you accept the updated terms.
